THIS is the water distiller to buy and THIS is the company to buy it from. I had an issue and they were responsive and professional. This is third distiller and the best distiller by far. I have a great product and know that there is a great company that stands behind the product.
The PWS 8-5 is a great distiller. Just the right size for a regular home. I loved it so much that I just decided to buy a new one and then get the old one repaired. The new one is so nice… comes well packaged and ready to distill. It was easy to set up.
High quality machine, very simple to use and maintain. Water texture and taste noticeably improved (a smooth texture and pure flavor, unlike before) after distillation! Drinking water is so much better now. Impressive turnaround time, ordered on a Tues, received it on a Fri, had the distiller setup and steaming Fri evening after work! Look forward to many years of use!
We live in an agricultural community with high arsenic levels and heavy pesticide use in our water — purchasing a distiller for my family is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The PWS-8 Lake Model is a pleasure to own, easy to maintain, and built better than any other brand I’ve seen. When we had an issue, Water Specialties / Precision Water Distillers resolved it with excellent service.
I have a Lifemist Pro, which is a predecessor of the PWS. I have had it for more than 15 years and it is extremely well built and reliable. I would definitely purchase this product again and we have become true water snobs! Great service and support, as well.
This thing is built like a tank — extremely well-built and runs like a Swiss timepiece. Top-notch phone support helped me get set up quickly. I love that it doesn’t boil dry, keeping the tank easy to clean. Compared to buying several cheap countertop distillers over the years, it’s a bargain — and far more convenient.
Not trusting our water supply, I bought our family a PWS 8-8 water distiller. Our distiller has since provided thousands of gallons of high quality water for drinking and cooking with minimal maintenance. I was online ordering a backup heating element and gasket (seem to last 11-12 years) when I noticed there are no ratings for this fantastic distiller. Without doubt, I’ll be using this unit for another 20+ years. Who knows, maybe my children will inherit it.
All I can say is that I love Precision. I’ve been a customer for about 10 years. I have a PWS 12-20 distiller in my RV and one in my house and they make the most excellent water for me and my family. The maintenance on these is not hard and the quality of water is so amazing. I used to have to buy my distilled water for $1.00 a gallon and cart it from the store. Now I have a tap on my kitchen sink. So easy. So healthy. Also, I must say any time I need help I contact Brady and he knows everything and the service is fast and friendly. Thank you so much for improving our lives.
